The shared space around the office carries a strong odor of cigarettes, potentially overwhelming for non-smokers. I struggled with poor cell service and found myself wishing for a more connected stay. While the decor felt like a throwback to the '80s with wood paneling and shag carpet, it might not appeal to everyone.

my stay at cave mountain motel was fantastic! the place is super clean, with everything you need for a cozy getaway. i loved having a mini fridge, air conditioning, and cable tv in the room. the owners, jean and art, were wonderfully welcoming and not intrusive at all. it’s conveniently located close to everything, and the breakfast room offered nice options like coffee and yogurt.
